Bec is a globally renowned pioneer and innovator in gender intelligence. Her expertise helps businesses move to the next level by showing them how to use a gender lens to drive greater profitability, innovation and growth.
When Bec was just 28 years old, she became Aussie ad-land’s youngest female Creative Director and only one of 3% of women globally to attain the title. In addition, Bec has won numerous international awards and gained recognition for her work across many categories and major brands including the launch of Virgin Airlines and AFLW.
On the back of this, Bec joined the 0.1% female founders to open an agency named Venus Comms back in 2004. Bec saw an immense gap and opportunity for the way business recognised and connected with the global female market worth $28 trillion. Bec built Venus into a ground-breaking and successful marketing agency. Her clients enjoy unprecedented success with transformative results because of her unique ability to get “what women want.”
Most recently, Bec has continued to expand into the consulting space where she speaks, writes and educates businesses and brands of all kinds like Hyundai, Honda, AGL, AFL and many more on using gender intelligence to drive bigger profit and better business outcomes. Bec has shared her tried and tested methodology in her 2017 debut business book Blind Spots.
Bec is married to an ad man and is a mother to two daughters who she hopes to serve a better and fairer world. You can find her at becbrideson.com
