Carly is an experienced commercially focussed HR professional that has worked with SME’s and large enterprises across multiple industries. She is also a thought leader, mother and advocate for women in the workplace – depending on the time of day you catch her. A leader passionate about integrating motherhood, personal journey and career and showcasing to women you can have it all, if you want to.
Carly is a firm believer that there are still glass ceilings in a lot of places in our society, across all levels of the workplace, but as women we continue to double glaze them with our fear. Fear we are often feel as a result of trying to conform to constructed societal norms. Founding Finding Her Fearless at the beginning of 2018, Carly now uses her own experience and journey, working with a broad network of females to support and empower women and build capability around the soft skills in their career. Enabling them to challenge these norms, change their mindset and smash their glass ceilings so they can excel in their career.
Carly has spoken at a number of events recently, including the Commonwealth Banks Women in Focus Real Stories, Brisbane and as a panel member at the Queensland Hotels Association annual Employment Relations Conference. With a passion for women in the workforce, Carly is available to speak on topics around conquering motherhood and the world of work, womens advocacy and women in leadership as well as emotional and social intelligence, human resources, employment relations an the workplace landscape.
