Laura Prael

Laura is a published author, copywriter and communications professional with more than a decade of experience working in digital marketing. Over her career, she’s trained more than 500 professionals in topics including writing for the web, content marketing, and building a personal brand online. Today, she’s best known for founding a fast-growing digital agency, LEP Digital, which is now in its third year of operation. 

Laura has written and consulted for brands including Google Australia, Westpac, Sanitarium, Weet-Bix, Avon, and The University of Newcastle. She’s worked in Sydney, London and Los Angeles and been featured in several publications including A Girl in Progress, Soar Collective, Upstart Magazine and The Spotlight Series.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Newcastle, and a Master of Public Relations & Advertising from the University of New South Wales where she also serves as an Arts & Social Sciences Faculty student mentor. 

Laura’s recent experience includes speaking at the Marketing to the Rural Sector Conference, speaker and panellist the University of New South Wales and University of Newcastle student events and lectures, and presentations for various businesses on content marketing, building a brand and finding your ‘why’. 

She is available to speak on a range of areas, including all areas of digital marketing relating to her business, her biography, building a personal brand, creating content marketing that converts, writing for the web, optimising websites for SEO, and designing effective internal and external communications strategies.
