Megumi Miki

Megumi is a Leadership and Culture consultant, author, speaker, facilitator and coach with experience of 20+ years. She has worked with large corporations including National Australia Bank, ANZ Bank, AustralianSuper and Roche as well as smaller for-profit, government and non-profit organisations.

Megumi takes a facilitative and practical approach to helping organisations and individuals to achieve their vision and break out of the status quo:

  • Organisational culture – supporting successful culture change with organisations ranging from 300 to 35,000 people.
  • Leadership – lifting leadership capability and leadership team effectiveness to bring out the best from diverse talent.
  • Individuals – cultivating personal leadership to thrive by leveraging their unique qualities.

She founded Quietly Powerful in 2016 to help quieter professionals – especially women – to succeed on their own terms and to redefine what good leadership looks like in organisations. The movement has attracted interest across Australia and globally from individuals and organisations.

Megumi is passionate about empowering people on the ‘outer’ to have a voice. Her passion is underpinned by her own experiences of being on the ‘outer’ as a Japanese professional woman in the Australian workplace. She believes we have a war on wasted talent rather than a war for talent.
