Rachel is an internationally experienced financial services leader, advocate for women in law, musician, runner, and mother of three. With a strong interest in the future of work, and technology as it impacts financial services, she is studying a blockchain course via Oxford University.
In addition, as Founder of “First 100 Years” celebrating the 2018 centenary of women lawyers in NSW, Rachel commissioned a portrait of Australia’s first female Chief Justice, which is currently on display in the Art Gallery of NSW as a finalist in the prestigious Archibald Prize.
Rachel has worked as a lawyer in Tokyo, London, New York, Moscow, Hong Kong and Dubai. She now lives in Sydney but retains an international outlook, and will be climbing Mt Kilimanjaro for cancer research in 2019. Passionate about women in leadership, turning chaos into order, and connecting people, Rachel’s motto for life is: Engage, Explore, Entertain. Rachel is currently a Director on two not-for-profit Boards: International Women’s Forum Australia, and The Song Company.
With a background as a comedy scriptwriter and Theatresports performer prior to her legal career, Rachel brings an entertaining and lively perspective to the topics of leadership, working motherhood, diversity, building international networks, blockchain and the importance of trust.
